See you this weekend!

I'll be channelling guides, beings, ascended masters, the fae and beyond this weekend.

Come see me if you'd like to have a conversation with your guides, kind of like sitting down for a cuppa, as they use my voice to communicate with you.

Or, get yourself a spirit guide sketch so you can take the essence of their spirit with you and gaze upon them to initiate any communication, help, or support you need from your Divine Support team.  They are the starting point for amazing things to happen. You don't have to go it alone. Invite the Divine into your life and watch how miracles begin to occur.

Or maybe you need to see and feel the presence of Ancient Egypt in your life. The Tarot decks I use are filled with life, love, and many beautiful lessons.

Movies to Watch: Hector and the Pursuit of Happiness

While searching Netflix for something interesting, light hearted, and uplifting to play in the background while I drafted and altered a sewing pattern, I happened upon the movie Hector and the Pursuit of Happiness staring Simon Pegg alongside Rosamund Pike.  Normally, I'm working while I watch anything.  Rarely do I just sit and watch unless I'm at the movie theater, it's a foreign flick and I don't speak the language, or if the movie is so good that I become captivated.  Hector and the Pursuit of Happiness was in the last category. It was THAT good.

Since his days with Nick Frost in Hot Fuzz (2007), Simon Pegg has been one of my favorite actors.  He and Nick were hilariously appearing to fulfill their childhood dreams in Paul (2011), and he provided brilliant comic relief against the seriousness of Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011).  At first, Simon was silly, goofy, and plain ol' funny.  But as I have watched him choose his roles, my respect for him has grown.  I see him taking on themes that we all struggle with or dream of.

Having graduated from a couple Dale Carnegie courses, read his book, and was rasied by a man who believed in Carnegie's principles, I adored Simon in How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. Who would't want to watch a parody around one of their most influential courses? Well, not everyone, but I've learned to let go and respect the lessons that the sacred clown offers the tribe. Poke fun at ourselves and we are offered an opportunity to learn more, grow, and gain deeper insight into who, how, and what we are.
As I watched him play Hector, I deeply appreciated what he took on as an actor. The plot of this movie is quite similar to Inside Out (another movie I highly, highly, highly recommend no matter what your age.)  I laughed, I cried, I was completely inspired by Simon Pegg and the entire "Hector" movie. I'm still thinking about all the life lessons that arose during it.  The same is happening for me with the story and themes in Inside Out. I hope you get a chance to enjoy both.
What's your current movie fave and why?
