This business of being too short can be easily accommodated. Frankly, either the pattern is designed to be a crop top or it has a calculation error. To fix it, I'll slash horizontally, add length, and re-true the seams. SUPER easy. Especially for having such a decent T-shirt fit. This definitely feels like a base or block to work from.
I've already used it to compare for fit (see instagram photo embedded below) on the Sew House Seven Toaster Sweater #1 as part of Kelly Hogaboom's Sew Along. I'll be mostly posting photos to instagram for the Sew House Seven Toaster Sew Along, rather than compiling a large blog post. I'm really enjoying the smaller, more frequent bites of interaction and connection with the lovely #sewcialists community on Instagram. So, I'm trying things a different way for this Sew Along.
Even with this being a not so great fit in the length, I'm really excited by the opportunities this will open up.
