I made a fleece last year that turned out ok. After sewing up the Jalie Swim Shorts and seeing all the fan mail that floats into the Jalie FB group, I'm hooked and convinced that their patterns are worth diving deeper into! Considering where their pattern line appears to have started from (sewing patterns for ice skaters and the like), it's no wonder that their patterns fit as well as they do. You really have to know what you're doing to get such a great fit in knits, especially patterns that demand stretch in all directions like leotards and swimsuits. These ladies really are the sewing pattern line for athletes in my opinion. There are a few others like Melissa's line I would add in there too. Jalie takes the cake because they reach such a broad spectrum and their pieces end up being a tried and true, staple rather than something you'll wear for 1 season.
I have some fleeces in my stash that will be perfect for this jacket. Plus it will give me an opportunity to add another colorful layer to wear this winter so I can stay warm at the office and home.
Will you be joining Kelly, MaLora and me?
