Interesting to note, the seam shown actually rests at the hip bone, not at the traditional side seam. So when raising the leg seam to it's highest at the front to back seam, I'm actually raising it above my front thigh area (which protrudes due to all the swimming I've done.). I'm good with this because it's an area I need it most. But others may not want to raise the leg opening there. They may want to shift to what would be the side seam.
I'm quite pleased with the 2nd attempt. I have a feeling these will be a TNT for me. Jan's instructions are fab. The burrito technique easy and they sew up super fast. Besides, they use up leftovers, reduce the stash and keep me from dreaded shopping trips. WINNER!
- The Jalie Swimshort Brief (Left) is much lower on the leg, covers part of the thigh. and has a wider crotch.
- The Smoothie Panties (Right) has a higher leg opening and narrower crotch.
